“A divine gift should never be questioned…simply accepted.” Haunting piano, chimes and an EBM-throwback style synth arp bring you into this track which is the beginning of the end of “The Apollo Program” as an album. More than just making another floor-stomping track I really wanted to toss in as many new ideas for breakbeats as I could without making the song tedious. I wanted this track to completely disintegrate by the end and I think from the halfway point to the end of it that point is really pounded home. It was a lot of fun to make this track and more than once I set it to loop a few points during production just to take it all in.
Here we have the track that defines the album. Before I even had an idea for an album I had the sample and quickly it became an inspiration which sprouted virtually everything else. Samples like these are kind of tricky to work with though as they can make or break an entire track. I think we have something that fits perfectly both in terms of tempo and mood.
